Vertebrate Paleontology

From the description of Diarthrognathus (1958), and the discovery of Heterodontosaurus (1962) to studies of the evolution of mammalian suckling (2018, in press), respiration and endothermy (2017), and other aspects of mammal evolution, Crompton and his colleagues have applied 30 years of studies in the functional morphology of extant mammals to understanding fossil morphology and evolution.
